If you have dominion, why are you arguing with the devil?

I don’t care how many songs they sing about rebuking the devil, him being under your feet or stomping on his head: If you have dominion, why are you arguing with the devil? In layman’s terms: “They may try you, but you do not have to respond.” Case in point:

It never ceases to amaze me how predictable human beings are (myself included). Even the ones that seek to do evil, their actions are predictable if one takes the time to analyze their movements (past or present). Truly nothing is new under the sun which includes human nature.

So when someone spews venomous words, threatening actions or negative energy, you have the choice to not respond and not accept them. I have grown to view such ones as a child in need of attention. Some are “thrill seekers” and cannot live in the absence of chaos, confusion and drama. Instead of trying to figure out their “why”, fight fire with fire or ensue a battle with them, simply don’t respond.
[The one who truly sits in a position of power will not find him or herself arguing with peasants.]
I typically laugh, shake my head and then go into prayer. I leave prayer in peace.

If you have dominion, why are you arguing with the devil?
