Sounds like a strange combination, right? Spending Black Friday sending invoices and crying. Actually, I am having a blast.
Truthfully, I’m crying, sending invoices, having a power discussion with a business mogul client and cooking, but I digress. What’s more important is what I realize at this moment:
- I am beating the odds. For what everyone told me I wouldn’t do, couldn’t do and shouldn’t do, I surpassing their words and living in my purpose.
- I survived the tide. Life, including business, has ups and downs. There are times when you are on top of the world; there are times when the world is on top of you. Today proves that I survived another round while fortifying my entity for the future.
- I am not a statistic. I’m not knocking anyone’s Black Friday plans, but I’m proud to say that I am NOT out shopping. I am actually building my wealth versus spending it on material things that are not profitable. I don’t need that TV, makeup, clothing or anything else that’s marked down. (Apparently, my client who owns multiple businesses and is a business mogul feels the same way.)
