Are you Really Prepared for the Storm?

By the time I post this, I will be up in the friendly skies. This entire week’s weather forecast has Illustrated a truth of my life. Regardless of what storm is raging, you don’t have to fear if you know the one that controls the storm.

No one desires a storm: the word alone has a negative connotation. The reality is you will experience a storm in one season for another. You can prepare or brace for it as much as possible, but that does not change the fact that it will occur. Ever make a shopping list and hit the store, only to discover that you still forgot something? The list was helpful, but not foolproof, like the issues of life.

Today, whether there is a storm raging in your life or you’re bracing for the next, I encourage you to focus on the one that has full control over EVERY storm. You and I control nothing: we can’t walk or even breathe without the intricate system that God has designed and continues to operate. The blessing is, regardless of the situation, God will take care of you.
