This year, I’m thankful for you

Happy Holidays! While I do not need a particular holiday to tell me to be thankful, we all can use them as moments to reflect, refocus, and refuel. And after almost two years in a pandemic, I am thankful for you.

Some of you might be reading this and thinking, “Alesha, why are you thankful for me?” You might have come across this post on social media or be a new follower, and we do not have the pleasure of knowing each other that well. Regardless, I am thankful for you, and here are a few reasons why.

I am thankful to live in an age where we are not separated by geographic proximity. What a blessing it is to have access to technology where we can communicate, encourage, inspire, and uplift one another. And while people will argue that technology sends mixed messages, dangerous messages and can be used for evil, it is still a powerful tool that can be used for transformation.

I am thankful for the numerous people I have been able to teach, serve as clients, and promote just behind my laptop, paper, and pen. I am thankful for a thriving, growing business and so many of you are a part of that. Whether you made a referral, shared a post, or messaged me in reference to messages shared that made a difference in your life, I am thankful.

Beyond that, I am extremely thankful that you and I have the ability to choose the life we want to live and work diligently to have it! How awesome is it that you can look at areas of your life you would like to improve every day and then do just that?! You can literally go from idea to fruition with vision, concept, strategy, and consistent work. And you and I are still alive to experience the best that is yet to come.

I could go on and on, but life is to live in the moment, enjoying the present of another day. May you live long and well, my friend. I thank God for you and pray that you feel my big, warm hug through the digital space.

Here’s to your success,
