Timing is everything: I almost died last weekend

Although it’s technically the day after my one year anniversary of 100% self-employment, I’m still celebrating! Actually, I’m a little tired from last night’s celebrations: I’m no longer 20! Nevertheless, I deserve to celebrate for multiple reasons, one of which was last weekend’s potentially fatal accident.

My family and I were leaving from an indie authors’ award event and fueling up for the four hour drive back home. We enjoyed the time we spent together in between my business and networking responsibilities. (What mother doesn’t beam with pride to see her child living her dream and her risks paying off?) So after a delicious lunch at a local spot and fueling up & buying snacks at an “interesting” gas station, we were on our way and then it happened . . .

I looked up at just the right moment to see this car racing forward and collide into a parked car. The force of the impact pushed the parked car she hit into the car ahead, resulting in a three car accident. (It would have been a four car accident, but the fourth car had two to three car lengths of space between them.) My mother and I just looked at each other and knew that my decision below had saved our lives.

Timing is EVERYTHING! One of the main reasons I avoided this accident was because I decided to take a moment to respond to a text instead of pulling off. I had texted my special friend about the award show results and then let him know we were leaving so he could cover my family and me in prayer. (He did so before we left.) I had just put the key in the ignition and was planning to pull off, when my phone dinged and I realized it was him. (Yes, I’m smitten so of course I responded immediately, lol. If you would have read the words of encouragement and blessings that he sent, you would have too.)

As I pulled off, we looked at the damage and the possibilities of what would have happened if I hadn’t responded to that text. The driver was sitting there in shock and someone who witnessed the accident was walking to her while on the phone.

What is it going to take for you to die to self so you and others can be healed, delivered and set free? Did you know that when you walk and operate in your gifts, there is a shifting in the atmosphere that releases POWER, HEALING, FREEDOM, WEALTH (not just money), ANOINTING, SOLUTIONS and so much more?

Timing is EVERYTHING! Stop wasting time, make time and honor the time you have left. Life is too short and I plan to live, thrive and leave nothing on the table! I pray you will join me and, if you need help, I’m only a click away.
