As an Author, Editor and Motivational Speaker, it should come as no surprise that everything in my life revolves around words. I shamelessly devote my time and efforts towards helping youth and women understand the power of words. As you start your work week, ponder this:
When Women Talk . . . there is such power in those three words alone. Review history—the words of one woman has brought down kingdoms and built fortresses. The words of one woman has nurtured and fortified dynasties/nations or resulted in bloodshed. What is of great concern is the fact that, those same words and results can all come from the SAME woman. Pause and meditate on that for a moment.

When you understand this truth and the weight of it, imagine what happens when women join forces. Together we can break strongholds but, divided, we can destroy whatever good/symmetry that was purposed from our divine connection.
When I look at a world that is so intoxicated by the media and “reality shows” or dramas, I see the roots of our demise. This is not a diss to #Beyonce but, (#beyhive don’t come for me), what would happen if we were less concerned about #Lemonade and what infidelities occurred in her marriage and took ownership our lives? What if we were less concerned about how her and her squad got into #Formation and examined who we are aligned with? Your alignments, who you allow to speak into your life, can literally make or break you! You need to regularly examine those in your circle, anyone that you spend time with, and look for places where adjustments need to be made. (Be mindful of those crooks and crevices that can turn into collateral/structural damage is left unaddressed for too long.)

While I continually work to maximize my level of influence, I cannot pay more attention to Hollywood fashion and rumors versus my mission and purpose. I find it disturbing that so many women readily jumped to Beyoncé’s defense and bashed #RachelRoy.
However, when I consider how easily some women manipulate, bash and destroy other women in a millisecond with no concern or rationale, I guess this occurrence was not that alarming. I’ll leave you on this note:
Queen Vashti lost her crown and position from one simple act of no; Esther gained her crowned and saved an entire nation through words skillfully positioned and spoken. Words have power; do you know the power of yours?
